This is only going to inflate Charlie Sheen’s over inflated ego when he catches wind of this.

Exactly the point I was making the other day about @Klout - nice job, @mslaurenrae

Is a Twitter Squatter Influential? Soon after @charliesheen’s rapid rise on Twitter, it came up that the yet-to-tweet celeb had a Klout score of 57. The site which dubs itself “the Standard for Influence” also recorded 5K retweets before Sheen ever Tweeted anything. (Klout removed Sheen’s page for a period of time, before bringing it back Wednesday morning — after Sheen began Tweeting — with a score of 78).
Klout quickly acknowledged the confusion Tuesday evening, explaining that the initial “57” rating actually represented a fake @charliesheen that the verified account replaced.
According to Klout, “Large numbers of people mentioned @charliesheen, old-style re-tweeted forged tweets by @charliesheen, etc.” So what they’re saying is that an account run by an infrequently Tweeting squatter was only 20 points less influential than Sheen’s new account, which is at the center of the viral web today?
